MyEasyTV.com online TV is a fun website that lets you watch TV online for free. They are probably the closest to real TV on you PC right now and their website is really easy to use. Channels are divided into 14 categories, such and movies, sports, music, news, business… What you need to do, is first choose a category, than a channel, click it, wait for it to load and you are all set. I have seen similar websites before, but none as easy to use as this Online TV.
Television is probably the next industry Internet will revolutionize and it will be fun to see in which direction in goes. It is great that you can watch TV and work at the same time, or just let the music play in the background.

There are some webmasters today are looking to get rich quick by putting up lots content without writing anything themselves. First, stealing content from other websites without their permission is against the law. You could be sued by the website owner for crimes like copyright infringement and theft. Furthermore, the Google algorithm these days is so well-written, it can detect duplicate content and penalize the site in question. Google usually sends duplicate sites to the supplemental index, where no normal user will ever see it in a search result. Why even commit the crime if Google is going to penalize your site? If you are running Adsense ads in excess on the site with stolen content, Google may ban your Adsense account. Lastly, what about the end user? They gain nothing by reading duplicate articles, and they are wasting their time by reading something that was stolen. Having unique content on your site will look good to Google, and continually updating the site with fresh, relevant articles will send you to the top of the search engines. You also provide quality information to the end user when the content of your site can not be found anywhere else. Unique content will keep the users coming back for more, and even telling their friends about the useful information they found on your site. Sites like Problogger.net do not receive over 11,000 average visitors per day because they copied content from another site. Do not waste your time committing a crime and devaluing your site, the internet already has enough spam. Produce high quality content and you will have created a valuable resource for millions of people.

Ok..this has been talked about to death on every webmaster site, forum and what have you on the planet it seems..Google has been for months talking about cracking down on link sellers and buyers for that matter.Well, after the smoke has almost cleared, the PR update has happened about 2 months late,it seems that Google has made tried to make some adjustments to its PR algo.Alot of sites that have “appear” to have bought alot of links on sites,as well as websites that have obviously sold links on sites have seen a dramatic reduction in visual PR for their websites. Was this manually done? You have to think that in some part it was. So,whats all this mean to the future of PR,SEO,link building and the like?I think that Google will continue to tweek the algo on this..Meanwhile webmasters that really only want to supplement the income for their website by renting ad space will be at the mercy of a new algo or someone manually penalizing the site for the appearance of sold links. Please comment on this statment

When you want to increase your search engine rank, the first thing you should think about is how am I going to market my site. One great way and a very popular way is to use a web directory. The question remains is How can I launch a successful directory marketing campaign? The answer is not easy. There is no one website that has simply gone from conception to the number one rank in the search engine automatically. Marketing a website takes time and a lot of patience.
Once you decide that you want to market your site in directories you will want to see which directories are looked at the most. Then you want to decide what type of directory you will be using. Do you want to use a paid directory, a free directory or a bid directory. Paid directories seem to be the way to go, they offer you a spot in their listings and as you continue to pay every month you will get the same spot.
Free directories will place you where ever they feel like because you are not paying for anything at all. Bid directories will place you in accordance with what you are willing to pay. If you want to maintain the high spot you will have to pay the top bid but once someone else bids over you, you will lose your spot. Be consistent with using a paid directory and make sure your site is easy to use and has a lot to offer so you can keep traffic coming back.

There are two things that are becoming more and more a fixture on the web and they are blogs and web directories. A web directory is an online Yellow Pages of sorts. There are millions of results when you type in web directories into the search engines. Web directories have two reasons to exist. The first reason a directory is used is to gather up websites that are looking to increase their traffic. Millions of people use web directories everyday and what could bring you in more traffic than a directory for thousands of people to see your site.
There are three types of directories, the Paid, Free and the bid directories. The Paid directories seem to be the best because you pay a very low fee and you get a permanent spot in the directory as long as you keep paying. The second reason a web directory exists is if you as user are looking for a topic of let’s say pets , you can go onto most directories and they will have a category for pets. But each directory will have different websites so what you can’t find in one directory you can be sure to find it in another.

Search Engine Optimization is very important when you are trying to increase your standing in the search engines. You want to be able to have your site on the search engine and one way to do that is by doing a little SEO work to your site. Initially when the bots come they don’t rank you very high because you are new to the web but over time as they see that your site has improved with more content, better links and the right amount of keywords they will place you higher.
The idea of SEO whether you perform it yourself or hire someone else to do it, the idea is to increase your rank by whatever means necessary. There are two terms used in SEO and they are White Hat and Black Hat. The White Hat is an upfront way to go about fixing the way your website is set up. The Black Hat way would be to cheat in a sense by keyword stuffing or redirecting from another site. Building a website takes a lot of time and you have to be patient. When the bots come on your site and you don’t rank any higher then it is time to take a long hard look at your site and see why and that is where SEO comes into play.

When you create your own website and you go through the process of creating the content and looking for a hosting company you will start the process of getting your site recognized by the search engine. One way to do that is called Link building, this is the process of search engine optimization in where the webmaster will begin adding links to their site that are relevant to their subject matter. A search engine will not reward a site with results if the links that are on a site do not have anything to do with the subject.
For example, if you have an exercise and fitness site and your links are about plants, then the spiders that crawl the site will not increase your indexing. You want to make sure that when you link build that the links that you are choosing are appropriate for your site. The idea is to increase your index status in the search engine not to get a decrease or have a non existence on the search engine. If you follow the white hat rules of SEO , you will see your index rank climb in no time.

Internal linking is one of the least used search engine optimization, or SEO, techniques that webmasters should take advantage of. In fact, it isn’t uncommon to see hundreds of webmasters buying external links to a webpage, but the same webmasters don’t take advantage of internal links- what exactly are they missing out on?
First, internal linking can be just as influential as external linking. The only difference is that it’s free since the webmaster owns the website. This can be as simple as linking certain keywords or phrases to another article on one’s website, or offering a “Read More” option that links to similar interest pages in the webmaster’s website. The anchor text from the links count just like external links do, even though most webmasters are under the impression that external links are more important.
One of the first benefits of internal linking that a webmaster will notice is a better “spidering” of their website from search engines. These search engine spiders will crawl links on each page of a website- so if more links are given, the more the website is crawled. A direct result of more crawling comes as better keyword placement, as well as a possibly higher Google PR. Not only does this help search engines better do their job, but it helps readers or users of a webmaster’s website find related content they might be interested in. A satisfied reader will spread the word, and a nice return on traffic can result.
Not all internal links are good, however. Overusing internal links will cause search engines to declare the website as spam, which can hurt rankings. The most common abuse of overuse comes from links in the footer of a website. This is where webmasters commonly sell links, and also where black-hat SEO gurus hide keywords and links that they hope will increase their SEO. Selling links is fine, but overdoing it can alienate readers and search engines alike. Trying to cheat search engines by placing keywords, phrases, and an abundance of links in the footer- this method will usually result in a penalty instead of a benefit.
As a final note, be sure to link to the same webpage more than once if possible- but use a different anchor text. Google will not only expand the keywords that will lead to that webpage, but it may also penalize a certain keyword if it is used in links too much. It isn’t natural to link to the same webpage with the same anchor text more than a few times, so be sure to mix anchor texts up for the best results in internal linking.
For webmasters who think they need to spend money on expensive external links, perhaps they should instead build their internal link structure first. This is the easiest way to get targeted traffic from search engines like Google, and the best part is- it’s free. A combination of external and internal links is the best way to go, however, so be sure to take advantage of both areas of linking for the best SEO results.

Internet marketing is a beautiful concept by itself, and has lot of benefits and though some limitations too. Internet marketing as such is done through Internet and has many subdivisions too in it. Some of them are cost-per click advertising, search engine marketing and e-mail marketing.
Some of the other media of marketing are print, radio and TV. But, comparatively Internet marketing is growing very fast. It is also gaining popularity among small businesses. However, in most developed countries, internet marketing and advertising spending is around 5% only, while TV, radio, and the print are more. The best advantage of this media, it can extend to both national and international marketplaces. And , in a way, both small and big business players can have a role.
Limitations:
Sometimes Internet marketing becomes a difficulty when some of the webpages does not open, some informations might not get downloaded. It does not allow the consumers to touch, smell, taste the persihable foods. The next major limitation is that most of the consumers hesitiate to give their personal information like credit card details, when the payment is processed. Some of the personal informations are being sold by the companies. Many customers are unaware that their that their information is being shared and are unable to stop the transfer of their information between companies. Since the Internet is a new medium, marketing staffs are still undergoing a learning curve in terms of exploiting its full potential and integrating it with their offline promotional activities.
Benefits:
1. Cost reduction. Achieved through reducing the need for sales and marketing enquiries to be handled by telephone operators and the reduced need for printing and distributing marketing communications material, which is instead published on the web site.
2. Capability. The Internet provides new opportunities for new products, services and markets to be sold into that may not have previously been practical.
3. Competitive advantage. If a company introduces new capabilities before its competitors, then it will achieve an advantage until its competitors have the same capability. Customers who transferred to Federal Express because of its new Internet services are likely to be less disposed to revert to an existing courier since they are “locked-in” to using the particular tools provided by Federal Express.
4. Communications improvement. These include improved communications with customers, staff, suppliers or distributors.
5. Control. An Internet and intranet may provide better tracking of customer behaviour and the way in which staff deliver services.
6. Customer service improvement. Provided by interactive queries of databases containing, for example, stock availability or customer service questions.
